Our client is seeking a highly motivated Associate with approximately three years of litigation experience to join their Trial & Defense team in Miami. This role involves defending a wide range of civil litigation matters, including general liability, premises liability, negligent security, wrongful death, construction, automotive accidents, property damage claims, and high-exposure product liability cases. The position offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to develop litigation skills while working closely with experienced attorneys in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research
- Prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
- Interview clients and eyewitnesses
- Report case status to clients
- Maintain significant client interaction
Required Qualifications
- Previous law firm experience required; Am Law 200, leading regional, or major boutique firm experience preferred
- Admitted to practice in Florida
- Strong academic credentials
- Litigation experience
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling product liability or high-exposure cases
- Familiarity with construction or premises liability matters
Salary : $125,000 - $140,000
