We represent major hospital systems, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, managed care organizations, physicians, and other healthcare professionals and institutions nationwide.
As part of our strategic growth, we are expanding into South Florida and seeking an experienced Senior Trial Attorney or Partner-Level Attorney to play a pivotal role in launching and growing our presence in the region. The firm already has work ready to hand off and is committed to opening a South Florida office to support this growth. This is a unique opportunity to be on the ground floor of an exciting expansion with the backing and resources of a well-established firm.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience handling insurance defense and general liability matters, including medical malpractice, personal injury, and professional liability. This is a key leadership opportunity offering autonomy, support, and the chance to shape the growth of a new office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a full caseload of complex insurance defense matters from inception through trial
- First-chair jury trials and handle high-exposure cases
- Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and court conferences
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and trial strategy
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Serve as a key leader in opening and growing the firm’s South Florida office
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to recruiting and business development efforts
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Florida Bar license in good standing
- 10 years of experience in insurance defense, medical malpractice, or general liability litigation
- First-chair trial experience required
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in building out a new office with firm support
- This position is based in South Florida, with flexibility for hybrid or remote work. Similar senior-level opportunities are also available in Manhattan, Long Island, and New Jersey for qualified candidates.
