Job Description
- We are seeking a Senior Configuration Analyst to support the Configuration Management & Data Integrity team.
- This role will focus on configuration baseline control, revision management, documentation traceability, and data management across engineering and manufacturing.
What You Will Be Doing
- Manage product revision control and maintain the authoritative configuration baseline.
- Design and support documentation traceability workflows for engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Review, log, categorize, and track engineering changes against approved customer baselines.
- Analyze Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and communicate configuration impacts to affected stakeholders.
- Ensure Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) processes comply with contractual, regulatory, and internal requirements.
- Lead change-management activities from concept through product sustainment.
- Support special projects and cross-site initiatives related to configuration management and data integrity.
- Prepare clear and concise communications and documentation for detailed, mission-critical work.
- Mentor junior analysts and share configuration management best practices.
Basic Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree with 10 years of Configuration Management-related experience.
- Experience applying CM policies, procedures, and tools.
- Ability to understand and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering drawings.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong business acumen and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid document management skills.
Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of professional experience.
- Configuration Management certifications preferred.
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
- Experience with ERP, SharePoint, Windchill, JIRA, and/or Confluence.
- Knowledge of Configuration Management principles and SAE EIA-649.
- Familiarity with electronics manufacturing or design.
- Previous experience in defense, aerospace, military, or logistics environments is a plus.
