Key Responsibilities
- Provide prescribed occupational therapy treatments to support independence in daily living skills and overall function
- Deliver skilled therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Assist with implementing and modifying individualized treatment plans based on resident progress
- Monitor and document residents’ functional abilities, participation, and response to therapy
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and therapy goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with company policies and state regulations
- Communicate resident progress and clinical observations to the supervising OT
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff
- Active Kansas COTA license
- In good standing with all applicable licensing boards
- Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred
- Experience with Net Health documentation system is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
