Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and help residents regain independence and improve their quality of life. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify functional limitations and develop appropriate therapy goals
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities (IADLs)
- Monitor resident progress and adjust interventions to maximize outcomes and independence
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Recommend and train residents in the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to enhance safety and function
- Provide education and support to residents, families, and caregivers to promote continued progress outside of therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
- Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to individualized resident care strategies
- Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and facility policies and professional standards
- Current, active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the State of Wyoming, in good standing
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting preferred
- Familiarity with electronic documentation systems (Net Health experience preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with residents and care teams
