Position Overview
Heritage Grove Estates is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to support resident care through the safe administration of medications and assistance with daily living activities. In this role, you will serve as a key member of the clinical team, ensuring residents receive timely, accurate, and person-centered care.
Working under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, the CMA plays a critical role in promoting resident safety, comfort, and well-being while supporting the implementation of individualized care plans in accordance with regulatory standards.

Position Overview
Heritage Grove Estates is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to support resident care through the safe administration of medications and assistance with daily living activities. In this role, you will serve as a key member of the clinical team, ensuring residents receive timely, accurate, and person-centered care.
Working under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, the CMA plays a critical role in promoting resident safety, comfort, and well-being while supporting the implementation of individualized care plans in accordance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders, facility policy, and state regulations
- Monitor and document vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respirations, reporting abnormalities promptly
- Assist residents with mobility needs, including transfers, ambulation, and repositioning in alignment with care plans
- Provide support with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests, ensuring timely and respectful service
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with infection control and safety protocols
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the supervising nurse in a timely and accurate manner
- Communicate effectively and professionally with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Adhere to all facility policies, KDADS regulations, and infection prevention standards
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure individualized care plans are executed effectively, addressing both physical and emotional needs
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing with the State of Kansas
- Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the State of Kansas
- Ability to provide compassionate, resident-centered care across a range of physical and cognitive conditions
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills within a healthcare environment
- Effective problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
