The Team You Will Be Joining

Major Duties
- Provide help desk support for computer systems, office equipment, and standard software applications.
- Set up computers and other office equipment for employees, including installing standard software and ensuring proper cable connections.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Monitor data communication network equipment and system consoles to detect performance issues or failures and initiate corrective actions.
- Perform system backups and assist with system cleanup activities.
- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, technical issues, actions taken, and installation activities.
- Assist with issuing equipment to staff and processing returned equipment.
- Schedule mainframe batch processing jobs as needed.
- Assist team members with tasks that may involve more complex technical work.
- Knowledge of computer operations, information systems, hardware, software, and information security practices.
- Experience supporting computers and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Ability to operate and support information technology systems and related programs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to assist users in resolving technical problems.
- Ability to document issues and maintain accurate records of support activities.
- Experience in a help desk or IT support environment is preferred.
- Compensation Rate: $ 24.00/hour
- Length of Engagement: March 9, 2026 – to August 31, 2026 ( with strong likelihood of continual extensions
- Days/Hours: Full-time; flexible scheduling options (approximately 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Location: San Antonio, TX (78219) 100% Onsite
