Job Overview
The Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Directorate supports and executes programs that enhance the capabilities of Air Force Special Operations Forces (AFSOF) intelligence personnel. These programs are designed to ensure intelligence personnel are equipped to deliver comprehensive and actionable intelligence services to United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) elements and subordinate commands.
The candidate will provide acquisition intelligence subject matter expertise to AFSOC/A2, advising on adversary threats, critical intelligence parameters, and intelligence dependencies across the acquisition lifecycle. Support senior leaders and portfolio staff with timely, actionable intelligence reporting.

Responsibilities / Duties
- Collaborate with acquisition, intelligence, and counterintelligence communities to identify and resolve intelligence issues related to new and existing programs.
- Prepare and present executive-level briefings, updates, and summaries to senior leaders.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of intelligence data to support decision-making.
- Plan and facilitate portfolio-focused meetings and working groups; provide after-action reports.
- Develop and deliver intelligence reports, technical data, and assessments for acquisition programs.
- Manage potential threats to acquisition efforts and focus on critical intelligence parameters.
- Bachelor’s degree in intelligence studies or related discipline.
- Completion of: CLR 101, ACQ 101, ACQ 110, and ACQ 210.
- 4 years of recent experience in an acquisition intelligence designated position.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent executive-level verbal and written communication skills.
- Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Prior experience supporting AFSOC, USSOCOM, or other special operations acquisition programs.
- Familiarity with JCIDS (Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System) processes.
- Experience briefing flag-officer or senior executive service (SES) level audiences.
- Offers contingent on successful contract bid.
