Job Overview
The Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Directorate supports and executes programs that enhance the capabilities of Air Force Special Operations Forces (AFSOF) intelligence personnel. These programs are designed to ensure intelligence personnel are equipped to deliver comprehensive and actionable intelligence services to United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) elements and subordinate commands.
The candidate will administer and manage the Command’s Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Management Program, ensuring compliance with DNI, DoD, and USAF directives. Serve as a key advisor on personnel security, information security, and physical security across AFSOC/A2.

Responsibilities / Duties
- Advise on the SCI security program; implement and maintain policies from DNI, DoD, and USAF.
- Develop, evaluate, and monitor procedures to protect SCI material.
- Manage all SCI facility (SCIF) and temporary secure working area (TSWA) validation proceedings; generate concept validation, pre-construction, and accreditation packages.
- Prepare SCIF construction specifications and security alarm/reaction plans per IC Directive 705 and DoDM 5105.21.
- Investigate SCI security infractions and prepare reports on findings.
- Devise risk-based, cost-effective physical security plans; coordinate selection and installation of intrusion detection systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant security field or related discipline.
- 5 years hands-on personnel and information security experience within the last 12 years.
- At least 5 years of additional experience supporting Air Force and Special Operations Personnel and Information Security programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Completion of NCSC DoD Special Security Officers Course.
- Completion of NCSC ICD 704/705 Personnel and Physical Security Courses.
- Experience managing SCIF accreditation packages for special operations command-level organizations.
