Job Overview
The Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Directorate supports and executes programs that enhance the capabilities of Air Force Special Operations Forces (AFSOF) intelligence personnel. These programs are designed to ensure intelligence personnel are equipped to deliver comprehensive and actionable intelligence services to United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) elements and subordinate commands.
The candidate will serve as a senior, air-focused threat analyst providing intelligence on global kinetic and non-kinetic threats to support AFSOC leadership and operational units. Maintain constant situational awareness of the global security environment, with emphasis on threats relevant to Air Force Special Operations Forces (AFSOF). Deliver polished executive-level briefings to senior leaders.

Responsibilities / Duties
- Gather information from open-source data, GEOINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, and classified sources.
- Process and analyze large volumes of data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
- Evaluate source credibility and data reliability to produce accurate threat assessments.
- Create detailed intelligence reports disseminated to decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with service components, combatant commands, and the intelligence community to collect and interpret data.
- Prepare and present executive-level briefings, updates, and summaries to senior leaders per Appendix D briefing standards.
- Plan and facilitate intelligence-focused meetings and working groups; provide after-action reports.
- Develop comprehensive IPOE by integrating SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, HUMINT, geopolitical intelligence, and socio-cultural analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in intelligence studies or related discipline.
- Completion of the AFSOF Intelligence Formal Training Unit (IFTU).
- 5 years of recent airborne intelligence analysis experience.
- 5 years of intelligence support to AFSOF aviation and/or special tactics experience.
- Ability to meet and maintain A2 Briefing Standards (Appendix D Ready Standard).
- Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Prior experience as a threat analyst or command briefer at a TSOC, CCMD, or equivalent headquarters.
- Multi-INT fusion experience across SIGINT, GEOINT, HUMINT, and OSINT disciplines.
- Graduate of relevant USAFSOS or SOCOM specialized intelligence courses.
