Accounting Supervisor

Our client is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to support the oversight and execution of cash accounting activities. This is a full-time, in-office position responsible for supervising cash reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial data, and leading a team within the cash accounting function.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead training, development, and review activities for each team member
- Review reconciliations prepared by the team and provide review comments and ongoing coaching as needed
- Investigate reconciliation variances and communicate issues to management
- Develop, implement, and maintain accounting processes and procedures
- Analyze financial data to identify focus areas and trends
- Serve as a subject matter expert and lead process-related projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve reconciling items and align expectations
- Support facility personnel and department leaders with accounting and financial questions
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 4 years of accounting experience
- At least 2 years of leadership or experience overseeing direct reports
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts and principles
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience maintaining controls related to GAAP and standard operating procedures
