TITLE: Esports Adviser
SUMMARY: Reporting to the Building Principal, the Esports Adviser is responsible for coaching and mentoring students in competitive video gaming, fostering a positive team culture, and promoting sportsmanship.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic planning and player development.
Engagement with the school community to establish and grow the Esports program.
Guiding students toward exposure to colleges and opportunities for continuing their education through Esports.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Current member of the Oxford Education Association.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position for extended periods; position oneself to demonstrate technique; move up to 25 lbs. Accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work is generally performed primarily indoors and predominantly in a school classroom.
