TITLE: Student Council Adviser
SUMMARY: Reporting to the Building Principal, the Student Council Adviser is responsible for guiding student leaders in successfully planning school and community events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Helps students address student concerns and to make positive changes within the school.
Promotes leadership opportunities for students within the school, regional, and state student councils organizations.
Provides students with access to various leadership conferences throughout the year.
Attends all meetings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Current member of the Oxford Education Association.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position for extended periods; position oneself to demonstrate technique; move up to 25 lbs. Accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the functions.
