Optomi, in partnership with a leading distributor of wireless voice, data, and video solutions, is looking for a Payroll Manager.
- Manage end-to-end payroll process for 2,000–2,500 employees across the United States and Canada
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state/provincial, and local payroll regulations
- Oversee payroll tax administration and manage regular reconciliations and year-end processes
- Serve as the primary contact with US and Canadian tax agencies
- Leverage compensation tools to ensure pay practices align with prevailing wage requirements
- Develop, maintain, and enforce payroll policies and procedures
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports and metrics for Finance, HR, and business leaders
- Partner closely with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate employee data
- Lead and oversee a small payroll team and provide hands-on coaching
- Drive continuous improvement in payroll processes, systems, and controls
- Maintain confidentiality and data security around employee information
- Provide responsive support to employees and managers regarding payroll questions and issues
