Overview:
- Optomi, in partnership with a leading enterprise organization, is seeking an AI Architect to join a high-impact data and analytics team. This role will focus on designing and evolving modern data platforms in AWS while supporting the integration of AI/ML capabilities across the organization.
- This is a hands-on architecture role where you’ll collaborate with senior architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. You’ll play a key role in shaping the organization’s AI platform strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, and driving innovation across data and analytics initiatives.
Qualifications
Required:
- 6–10 years of experience in data architecture, cloud architecture, or data engineering
- Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Redshift, Glue, etc.)
- Experience designing and building data platforms, data warehouses, or data lakes
- Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and how they integrate into enterprise systems
- Experience with data governance, ingestion, and storage best practices
- Exposure to advanced analytics tools (Python, R, or similar)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Git, containers, Kubernetes)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred:
- Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
- Exposure to AI/ML implementation in AWS environments
- Experience with APIs, REST services, and data integration tools
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Background in enterprise architecture or large-scale system design
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data and AI architectures within AWS cloud environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver AI/ML-enabled solutions
- Lead architecture efforts for data platforms, analytics systems, and AI integrations
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks aligned with business goals
- Define data management, governance, and integration strategies across platforms
- Conduct research, proof of concepts (POCs), and feasibility assessments for new use cases
- Ensure solutions follow best practices for performance, security, and scalability
- Support deployment models (cloud, hybrid) and integration with existing enterprise systems
- Partner with engineering teams to guide implementation and ensure architectural alignment
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
