Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a dependable Quality Control Inspector in their Stafford location. In this detail-oriented and meticulous role, you will be responsible for inspecting products and orders prior to shipping out whilst working in a culture-oriented Valve Supplier company! ***MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH VALVES***
In the Quality Inspector job you’ll be responsible for:
Verify that all QC/QA requirements are met, maintain electronic logs, complete electronic inspection reports, and electronic rejection reports, as necessary.
Learn the inventory and become an expert regarding it.
Identify areas of improvement within the inspection process to enhance order accuracy.
Inspect outbound orders and assist in inspection for inbound orders.
Cross-train among other Warehouse Jobs such as Picking and Receiving.
Other tasks as assigned.
What you’ll need:
1 years of on-the-job experience in mechanical or Valve inspection.
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Ability to accurately count components by hand or via weight counting.
Ability to read and understand purchase orders, material test reports (MTR), and material specifications.
Ability to gain a working knowledge of quality standards such as API and Trim Charts.
Ability to establish and maintain constructive working relationships with people.
Strong problem-solving and analysis skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects daily in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Able to work independently or as part of a team on a broad variety of projects.
Willingness to work additional hours to meet tight deadlines.
Able to follow directions and very detail oriented.

Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00AM – 6:00PM (schedule designated on first day)
$19.00 /hour - Depending on experience
