What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at RightStone?
We are seeking a Quality Inspector for an onsite manufacturing facility at $24/hour on a 12-month contract with potential temp-to-perm. This position supports a leading oil and gas manufacturer and is responsible for inspecting parts, assemblies, and subassemblies to engineering drawings and specifications; initiating non-conformance and corrective action reports; verifying testing; and ensuring all products meet quality, engineering, and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior experience in a quality inspection or quality technician role, the ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Job Description
- Inspect parts, assemblies, and subassemblies to prints and specifications
- Initiate non-conformance and corrective action reports
- Verify testing on components and completed assemblies
- Maintain and distribute quality records and documentation
- Partner with manufacturing teams to resolve recurring quality issues
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a Quality Inspector or Quality Technician role
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Understanding of defects and quality processes
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Must be able to work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
- Must be available for night shift (9:00 PM – 5:30 AM) after training
- Training will be on 1st shift (5:00 AM – 1:30 PM) and 2nd shift (1:00 PM – 9:30 PM)
- Must be able to work weekends as required
- Must be flexible to work occasional extended or 12-hour shifts to support full plant coverage
