Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Germantown, WI
Compensation: $25.00/hr - $28.00/hr
The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading, training, delegating, planning, and driving our production team to ensure our customers receive a world-class precast product. Through collaboration with our Plant Manager, Production Manager, Quality Team, Engineering Team, and Field Teams, they support our vision to be the safest and most innovative precast building company.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a hands-on production management role. A successful candidate will spend most of their time on the production floor, actively working alongside the team, rather than primarily in an office setting.
Key Responsibilities:
· Evaluate complexity of pieces and plan manpower needs, start times, pour schedules and any other special requirements required for production of product lines
· Hold production meeting(s) with the teams (carpenters, prep, steel, casting, other supervisors, other departments, or any other person(s) as deemed necessary) prior to starting new project to plan for safety, quality, and efficiency during production
· Assist QC with any drawing issues and track & report on production progress throughout the day
· Approve timecards and vacation requests for designated areas
· Meet with Production Manager daily to review goals, KPI’s or upcoming projects
· Assessing any training required, accountability of teams, cleanliness of production areas, managing tool usage and organization with shadow boards or coordinating any team visits to other production areas or field
· Communication with other department leads on any drawing, material, or other items needed
· Complete all safety audits, cleaning audits, and performance reviews
· Establish and plan department initiatives to increase efficiency, quality, safety, reduce waste in material or any other improvements needed. Communicate wins with the team(s)
· Work with Team on any corrective action plans needed
· Perform QC duties for pre/post pour inspections
· Monitor batching/casting procedures to ensure a quality product
· Establish and monitor task times to ensure crews are working efficiently
· Assist carpenters in complex mold layout and daily work instructions

Education & Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED
· Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
· Preferred: ACI/PCI Certified/ OSHA 30 hour trained
· 3 years supervisory experience
· Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and drive cost savings
· Experience tracking logistics
· Previous experience batching for precast concrete
· Experience rigging, operating gantry cranes, and operating industrial forklifts
· Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office proficiency
