Title: Carpenter

Location: Germantown, WI

Compensation: $24.00/hr

Hours: 6:00-4:30 M-F (With Occasional 6-Hour Saturdays)

The Carpenter position exists to ensure company provides high-quality and finely finished products to our customers. The Carpenter team member plans, lays out, and constructs wooden molds or sectional patterns used in forming architectural precast concrete units.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Lay out pattern on wood stock, dividing pattern into sections according to the shape of the casting to facilitate removal of precast from mold.

·       Cut and shape sections accordingly.

·       Fit and fasten parts together to form a pattern or section.

·       Trim, smooth, and shape surfaces.

·       Assemble sections and verify dimensions of complete pattern.

·       Utilize form-liners to generate brick and architectural concrete finishes.

·       Fabricate new parts or repair old parts for changes in form, for the next day’s production.

·       Set up molds and hardware according to shop drawings

·       Fabricate and utilize steel and concrete materials for form

·       Seal mold using epoxy coating applied by squeegee, brush, or roller.

Education & Qualifications:

·        High school diploma or equivalent, one year certificate from college or technical school

·        5 years of experience working in a carpentry shop/trade

·        1 years of experience working in the construction and/or concrete field

·        Basic Math: fractions and decimal points

·        Ability to read a complete tape measure scale

·        Ability to read blueprint/drawing
