Title: QC Manager

Job Summary:
The QC Manager will oversee quality assurance operations at a production facility. This role is responsible for ensuring products meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. The manager will supervise QC staff, oversee mix designs, collaborate closely with production and engineering teams, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. This position plays a key role in maintaining product integrity, operational efficiency, and a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
· Lead, mentor, and train QC Technicians.
· Assign daily QC tasks and ensure adherence to established procedures and standards.
· Conduct and oversee inspections, testing, and quality checks throughout production.
· Ensure compliance with PCI, ACI, ASTM, and internal quality standards.
· Produce samples and participate in mockup panel casting when needed.
· Oversee accelerated curing practices and evaluate concrete performance.
· Coordinate with production leadership to align schedules and resolve quality issues.
· Work with batch plant personnel to manage mix quantities and delivery timing.
· Collaborate with engineering teams regarding drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
· Maintain, adjust, and optimize mix designs for cost, performance, and quality.
· Observe production processes to identify improvement opportunities.
· Partner with production teams to resolve issues and enhance outcomes.
· Prepare and maintain QC documentation, inspection reports, and improvement recommendations.
· Uphold housekeeping and safety standards to ensure a compliant, organized work environment.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or vocational education preferred.
· 6–8 years of experience in a quality control, production, or materials testing role.
· Background in concrete, construction, or related building materials manufacturing strongly preferred.
· Experience working in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, production documents, and material specifications.
· Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills.
· Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor QC staff.
· Familiarity with industry standards and testing procedures.
· Proficient with computers and common business software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
