Position – Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift
Job Location – Ixonia, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Direct Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd Shift (3:00pm – 1:00am)
Starting Pay – $65-$75K Depends on Experience
Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus
Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience
Provide manning assignments to all associates. Manage department labor reporting. Manage production schedule in Excel. Train new hires/Cross-train existing employees
Responsibilities
- Responsible for department quality output and reporting
- Manage operator daily/ weekly Preventative Maintenance tasks
- Responsible for department safety and EHS
- Manage labor reports daily/weekly
- Provide performance feedback to subordinate associates.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in both Job shop (low volume/ high mix) and Production ( high volume / low mix) business models.
- Servant leader type supervisory style
- Ability to manage/ supervisor multiple departments
- High School diploma/GED required
- Associate degree preferred
- Prior supervisory experience required
- Functional experience in a department (CNC machining)
- Ability to train/mentor others
- Formal Training in supervision preferred
- Prior Lean training preferred
- Strong computer skills preferred
- Good communication skills – verbal and written
