Schedule
24 hours weekly
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 07:30 am - 4 pm
Overview: The Medical Receptionist provides essential administrative and clerical support to the Health Services Unit within a correctional facility. Serving in a role similar to a unit clerk, this role helps ensure efficient daily operations by coordinating patient scheduling, maintaining medical records, supporting healthcare providers, and facilitating communication between internal and external healthcare partners. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work effectively in a secure correctional environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is required.
Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred.
Must be able to pass a background check, and drug screening.
