What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at One Vision International?
Position: Registered Nurse
Location: Oshkosh, WI 54903 (If this location isn't a fit, we have openings in the Waupun and Lisbon areas as well)
Pay rate: $55/hr.
Duration: 6-month contract with possible extension
Setting: Primary care - Correctional
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, rotating AM/PM shifts between 6 AM and 10:30 PM
Self-scheduling model
Occasional weekends and holidays required
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Provide skilled nursing care for patients with acute, chronic, complex, and long-term medical conditions.
Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies.
Coordinate care with physicians, advanced practice providers, mental health professionals, and other members of the healthcare team.
Manage patient follow-up appointments, chronic disease management, and treatment plans.
Serve as a patient care navigator, ensuring continuity of care throughout the patient's treatment.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and initiate appropriate interventions.
Educate patients on health conditions, medications, and treatment plans as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse license
Previous correctional, emergency, medical-surgical, long-term care, or acute care nursing experience preferred.
Current BLS /CPR certification
