Our client is seeking an experienced engineering leader to guide a high-performing development team building a large-scale digital platform used by businesses across the country. This role combines strategic technical leadership with hands-on development and architectural influence.

You’ll play a critical role in shaping modern web applications, aligning user experience with backend services, and driving engineering standards across teams. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring engineers, improving development practices, and contributing directly to production code.

Job Duties

• Lead and mentor a full-stack agile team across development, QA, and business analysis
• Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert for a key domain within a large enterprise platform
• Architect and build scalable Angular (v12 ) applications integrated with RESTful .NET services
• Guide UI architecture decisions including routing, state management (NgRx), RxJS patterns, and performance optimization
• Design and maintain shared Angular component libraries with proper versioning and reusable APIs
• Collaborate closely with Product and backend teams to translate business needs into elegant, scalable UI solutions
• Contribute directly to code-leading by example through high-quality technical delivery
• Drive best practices across CI/CD, testing, security, and cloud-native design
• Participate in hiring, coaching, and career development planning for engineers
• Influence cross-team architectural standards across microservices and enterprise integrations
  
  

Qualifications

• 10 years of software development experience with deep expertise in C#, .NET, and Angular
• 5 years focused on modern Angular development (v12 ) including TypeScript, advanced ES features, and monorepo tooling (Nx, Webpack, etc.)
• Strong experience designing shared component libraries (versioning, packaging, documentation, theming)
• 3 years leading development teams in agile environments
• Experience building enterprise-grade REST APIs and distributed systems (monolith and microservices)
• Cloud architecture experience (preferably Azure) including serverless, storage, messaging, and logging
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
• Proven ability to design performant, scalable data solutions (SQL, document, and unstructured data stores)
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style
