Senior Fund Accountant – Private Equity

My client, a Boutique Private Equity firm is looking for a Fund Accountant to join their expanding team to handle internal fund accounting. Our client works on a hybrid basis in downtown Chicago, offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefits.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements processing investments, and monthly bank reconciliations
• Preparing and supporting quarterly close process
• Assisting with internal financial audit
• Calculating capital calls and distribution
• Interacting with investment teams and preparing investor correspondence when needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA is a plus
• Experience with Private Equity, Private Credit, Venture Capital, or Hedge Funds is necessary
• At least 2-6 years of experience in financial service industry, fund administration, or public accounting firm.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
