JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary: The duties of a Sanitation I
employee are to disassemble, clean, sanitize, reassemble and test-run
all elements of the line seven scaling and feeding system prior to the
first shift start up. Responsibilities/Duties: include the following.
Other duties may be assigned. Minimum expectations include but are not
limited to: - Disassembly of the Triangle system. - Cleaning of the
Triangle scale system. - Reassembly of the Triangle system. - Cleaning
of the \"steep\" conveyor. - Cleaning of the Urschel slicer. - Cleaning
of the \"Z\" conveyor. - Other duties as assigned (to be done on nights
when the Triangle system does not have to be cleaned). - Take
responsibility in your work area to produce a safe and quality food
product. Report all food safety and quality related problems to your
supervisor, manager, or to the QA department to initiate immediate
action. Supervisory Responsibility: No. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND
QUALIFICATIONS: Specific Knowledge, Skills, Licenses, Certifications,
Etc: - Required education is a high school diploma or equivalent GED; 1
to 3 months related experience; or an equivalent combination of
education and experience. - Receive the SSOP certification. - Qualified
to use a scissor lift (training provided by OWS). - Qualified to use
sanitation chemicals (training provided by OWS). - Qualified to operate
the Triangle system (clean out, set up and test run-training provided by
OWS). - The ability to print and speak simple sentences. Ability to read
and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one or small
group situations to other employees of the organization. - Able to
perform mathematic operations using any or all units of weight
measurement, volume, distance, and American money. - Apply common sense
and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral,
