Commodity Manager
📍 Locations: Tecumseh, OK or Denver, CO
🏢 Onsite | Full-Time
✈️ Travel: Up to 30%
We are seeking an experienced Commodity Manager to lead sourcing and supplier management initiatives across key commodity categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commodity strategies to support business objectives
- Lead supplier selection, qualification, and ongoing performance management
- Conduct supplier business reviews, audits, and corrective action initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 5 years of purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- 2 years of leadership or team management experience
- Experience developing and implementing commodity strategies
- Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills
- Experience managing suppliers across multiple locations or facilities
- Proven success in driving supplier performance and cost reduction initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Aerospace or defense industry experience
- Knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP standards
- APICS or ISM certification, or willingness to obtain certification
