Food Production Worker

Job Summary:

The Food Production Worker is responsible for assisting in the preparation, processing, packaging, and quality control of food products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures all food items are produced safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate food production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare ingredients and follow recipes or production instructions.
• Monitor product quality and report any issues to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the production area.
• Package and label finished products accurately.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
• Record production data such as quantities, weights, and batch numbers.
• Assist with loading/unloading materials and maintaining inventory.
• Work as part of a team to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or a related field is an asset.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or overtime if required.
