Job Summary:
The Food Production Worker is responsible for assisting in the preparation, processing, packaging, and quality control of food products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures all food items are produced safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate food production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare ingredients and follow recipes or production instructions.
- Monitor product quality and report any issues to supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the production area.
- Package and label finished products accurately.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
- Record production data such as quantities, weights, and batch numbers.
- Assist with loading/unloading materials and maintaining inventory.
- Work as part of a team to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or a related field is an asset.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods.
