HR Operations Administrator - Contract

We are looking for a proactive HR Operations Administrator to join a fast-paced HR team on an initial 90-day contract. This role is ideal for someone who can quickly step in to support core HR operations, assist with payroll-related processes, and provide basic analytics support across multiple HR functions. The successful candidate will help ensure smooth HR service delivery while maintaining accurate data, strong controls, and responsive support for employees and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee data updates, and offboarding
- Assisting with payroll preparation activities, including data validation, timesheet checks, and coordination with payroll providers
- Maintaining and updating employee records within HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Generating and maintaining HR reports to support payroll, headcount tracking, and operational metrics
- Providing basic analytics support across HR functions such as recruitment, payroll, employee data, and HR service delivery
- Assisting with HR documentation, policies, and internal process updates
- Responding to employee and manager inquiries regarding HR operations processes
- Supporting HR projects aimed at improving reporting, data quality, and operational efficiency
Essential Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, or HR Shared Services
- Exposure to payroll processes and payroll-related data preparation
- Experience working with HRIS systems and maintaining employee data
- Ability to create and interpret basic HR reports and analytics using Excel or similar tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive HR data confidentially
- Organized and able to manage multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service mindset when supporting employees and internal stakeholders
