The Opportunity
We are partnering with a top-tier investment firm to hire a Director, Compensation & Analytics, supporting a key infrastructure-focused investment platform.
This role sits at the intersection of compensation strategy, financial modeling, and analytics, with significant exposure to senior investment professionals and global leadership.
You will lead compensation initiatives across cash and long-term incentive programs, with a particular focus on carried interest structures, while driving data-led decision-making across the business.
Compensation Strategy & Execution
Lead compensation activities for a core investment business, aligning with firm-wide philosophy
Manage the annual compensation cycle, including modeling, analysis, and execution
Partner with senior stakeholders to advise on compensation decisions and outcomes
Design and administer cash and long-term incentive programs
Conduct market benchmarking to ensure competitiveness and internal equity
Manage and oversee carried interest allocations across multiple funds and products
Build and maintain complex carry allocation models
Partner with senior leadership on carry philosophy, performance alignment, and retention strategy
Collaborate with Finance on waterfall calculations, valuations, and distributions
Support compensation budgeting, forecasting, and accrual processes
Develop financial models, including scenario analysis and sensitivity testing
Track compensation spend against budget and support reporting
Deliver actionable insights through compensation analytics and reporting
Build tools and dashboards to enhance decision-making
Improve data quality, reporting frameworks, and visualization capabilities
7 years of experience in compensation within financial services or alternative asset management
Direct experience with carried interest programs (European waterfall preferred)
Strong financial modeling and analytical skillset
Proven experience partnering with senior investment professionals
Deep understanding of incentive design and compensation frameworks
Experience working closely with Finance, ideally within fund economics or carry structures
Advanced Excel skills; experience with Anaplan, PowerBI, or similar tools is a plus
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High-impact role with direct exposure to senior investment leadership
