We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented
Sprue Service Operatorfor 2nd sh
iftto support our production team by maintaining wax inventory and preparing materials required for the assembly process. This role is critical to ensuring smooth production flow and meeting daily manufacturing schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain adequate levels of reclaimed wax shape stock to support assembly production schedules
- Set up and operate wax injection equipment to produce required inventory
- Organize, segregate, and store wax shapes and materials in designated stock areas
- Prepare and maintain wax slabs and fill dip tanks as needed
- Stage materials (sticks, patterns, and wax stock) at assembly benches ahead of production
- Monitor inventory levels and notify leadership of potential shortages
- Operate equipment including wax injection machines, MPI machines, and wax saws
- Complete required documentation, logs, and data entry accurately and on time
- Support additional wax and sprue assembly tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and training requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Above-average computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Regularly works with molten wax-requires strict adherence to safety procedures to prevent burns
- Use of cutting equipment such as wax saws-requires attention to safety protocols
- Ability to lift materials and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to heat and industrial equipment
