đ§ What Youâll Do
As an Automotive Technician, youâll perform maintenance and light repair work while continuing to develop your technical skills in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Perform maintenance and light repair work such as fluid exchanges, brake service, and basic suspension repairs
- Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently according to dealership and factory standards
- Inspect vehicles to identify safety concerns or additional service needs
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and the parts department
- Document all work performed and recommended services
- Road test vehicles when necessary
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Handle tools and equipment safely and responsibly
- Participate in paid factory, ASE, and manufacturer-sponsored training
- Stay current on technical bulletins and service procedures
- Follow all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly
- Provide care and attention to customer vehicles, keeping them clean and protected
