We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry (Med Surg/Tele) to join our healthcare team in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Role: RN – Med/Surg Tele Float Pool
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 36
Duration: 13 weeks
Openings: 7–10 positions
Role Overview
Float Pool RN covering Med/Surg and Telemetry units across multiple acute care areas (including Northport location). May be reassigned during the shift as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care to Med/Surg and Tele patients
- Continuous telemetry monitoring
- Float between units/hospitals based on staffing needs
- Adapt quickly to different patient populations and workflows
- Deliver direct patient care and maintain documentation
Requirements
- Licensure: Alabama RN license or Compact license (no temp licenses)
- Education: Associate degree in Nursing (minimum)
- Experience:
- 2 years preferred (will consider 18 months with recent experience)
Certifications
- BLS (AHA or Red Cross required)
- ACLS Preferred
Unit/Facility Details
- EMR: Meditech
- Dress Code: Solid navy scrubs
- Must be willing to float to all acute units and facilities

- High flexibility required (frequent floating/reassignments)

Pay: $1,793.20 - $1,930.00 per week
