This role involves performing print production tasks, mailroom operations, scanning, shipping/receiving duties, equipment upkeep, and customer service support. The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesPrint & Production ServicesOperate high-volume copiers, printers, and duplicating equipment.Perform binding and finishing tasks including cutting, folding, hole punching, drilling, jogging, stapling, and shrink-wrapping.Operate high-volume scanners and image-handling software.Conduct daily inspections on convenience copiers, clear paper jams, and escalate maintenance issues as needed.Calculate and log job charges, maintain billing records, and ensure accurate documentation.Perform quality control checks and final review of completed print jobs.Deliver completed print and production work to designated departments or buildings.Mailroom, Shipping & ReceivingProcess incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and fax transmissions.Apply postage and manage mail workflow using relevant machinery.Verify accuracy of packing slips, determine appropriate packaging materials, and prepare outgoing shipments.Assist with receiving, sorting, and distributing supplies and materials.Customer Support & AdministrationRespond to customer inquiries regarding job status, equipment issues, and service requests.Maintain accurate meter logs, service logs, inventory records, and supply levels.Assist with filing, document archiving, housekeeping, and miscellaneous administrative tasks.Travel between nearby customer buildings if required.Equipment MaintenanceProvide routine copier maintenance and basic troubleshooting.Monitor equipment functionality and communicate with technicians for repairs.Maintain organized and clean copier and production areas.RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required.1-2 years of experience in copy/print center operations, print production, or related roles (preferred).Valid driver’s license may be required based on site needs.Proficiency with MS Office Suite and basic computer skills.Working knowledge of copier, printer, postage, and scanning equipment; basic electronics knowledge a plus.Familiarity with shipping/receiving processes.Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50-55 lbs.; ability to push/pull equipment weighing up to 700 lbs.Ability to read and understand written technical instructions, manuals, and job specifications.Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.Able to work independently and prioritize tasks in a production environment.Key SkillsHigh-Volume Printing & Copy OperationsScanning & Image ProcessingBindery/Finishing Equipment OperationShipping & ReceivingMailroom OperationsBasic Troubleshooting & Equipment MaintenanceCustomer ServiceOrganization & Time ManagementMS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Production Workflow Support
