Job Summary
The Cupid Analyst is an experienced clinical applications professional responsible for the design, build, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of Epic Cupid and Radiant applications supporting cardiology service lines. This role serves as the primary application expert, working closely with clinicians and stakeholders to ensure clinical workflows, documentation needs, and practice standards are effectively supported through system configuration and optimization
Scope of Role
Operates as an experienced professional with in-depth field knowledge, independently performing the full range of responsibilities.
Applies expertise to medium-sized projects of varying complexity or components of large-scale initiatives.
Analyzes complex issues, determines solutions, and exercises sound judgment with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, test, and implement clinical application systems supporting cardiology workflows.
Serve as the primary support contact and subject matter expert for Epic Cupid and Radiant applications.
Provide application support to clinical users through deep understanding of clinical processes, workflows, and documentation requirements.
Collaborate with clinicians to develop or adapt written protocols aligned with application functionality.
Prepare detailed specifications covering clinical processes, information flow, risk assessment, and impact analysis.
Analyze workflows, policies, procedures, and operational constraints to ensure optimal system configuration.
Coordinate and resolve application-related issues throughout project lifecycles.
Review new Epic releases to assess impact and recommend workflow modifications.
Build, configure, and populate databases and tables during initial system implementation.
Conduct system testing, conversion validation, and ensure data integrity.
Develop and document internal procedures and establish application change control processes.
Create user training materials and deliver end-user training on application workflows and functionality.
Provide troubleshooting and customer support during training, go-live, stabilization, and ongoing 24x7 support.
Participate in on-call rotation supporting both Cupid and Radiant applications.
Communicate effectively with technical teams, clinicians, leadership, and project stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Strong background in Epic Cupid implementation and production support.
Certified in Epic Cupid and Radiant (required).
Proven experience supporting cardiology clinical systems and workflows.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and document complex clinical and operational requirements.
Experience with system testing, data validation, and application configuration.
Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
