Shift Lead Position
As a Shift Lead at NRG Adventure Park, you are a key part of our leadership team—helping to ensure each shift runs smoothly, safely, and with maximum fun. You’ll supervise staff, provide excellent guest service, and take on important responsibilities like opening and closing the park. Your leadership, reliability, and attention to detail make every guest’s visit a memorable one.
Essential Job Functions
Supervise and support team members during your shift, ensuring high standards of guest service and safety
Open and close the park, following all procedures for facility setup, shutdown, and security
Count tills, reconcile cash drawers, and ensure accurate cash handling practices
Assist with training new team members and provide ongoing coaching to staff
Handle guest questions, concerns, and escalations with professionalism and positivity
Monitor park activity areas, ensuring all rules and safety protocols are followed
Perform routine inspections of the facility and report maintenance or safety issues
Complete shift paperwork and communicate shift updates to management
Assist with scheduling, break management, and shift coverage as needed
Support front desk, café, and activity areas as required
Maintain a clean, organized, and energetic environment for guests and staff
Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
Cash handling experience strongly preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
