Cashier Position
As a Cashier at NRG Adventure Park, you’re the first and last impression our guests have. You’ll greet families with a smile, handle transactions efficiently, answer questions, and help everyone get ready for extreme fun. Your positive attitude and attention to detail keep our front desk running smoothly and our guests coming back for more!
Essential Job Functions
Greet every guest with a friendly, energetic attitude
Process ticket sales, party bookings, and merchandise purchases accurately using our POS system
Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments, and issue receipts
Answer questions about activities, packages, safety procedures, and promotions
Check in guests for play sessions, birthday parties, and group events
Distribute wristbands, socks, and other required items to guests
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Upsell party packages, add-ons, and merchandise when appropriate
Resolve guest concerns and escalate issues to management as needed
Follow all safety, security, and cash handling procedures
Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, energetic environment
- Positive, outgoing, and team-oriented attitude
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and noise.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
