Construction Technician Position
Join our dynamic team as a Construction Technician and be a key player in delivering top-quality installation and construction services across multiple locations. This is a hands-on, travel-based role ideal for candidates with a background in equipment installation, low voltage installation, flooring (polished concrete or epoxy), or drywall work. This is a heavy travel-based position, requiring frequent travel to project sites.
Reports To: Install Director
Essential Job Functions
Install and service equipment as assigned, ensuring all work meets company and client standards.
Perform low voltage installations, including wiring and system setup, as needed.
Handle flooring projects such as polished concrete or epoxy applications.
Complete drywall installation, repair, and finishing tasks.
Travel to various project sites as required (all travel expenses, lodging, and meals covered).
Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other technicians to deliver quality results.
Troubleshoot and resolve installation or construction challenges on-site.
Report directly to the Install Director and provide regular project updates.
Work overtime hours as needed, with additional compensation in accordance with applicable laws.
Qualifications
Proven experience in at least one of the following: equipment installation, low voltage installation, flooring (polished concrete or epoxy), or drywall work.
Ability and willingness to travel frequently for work assignments.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus.
