Cafe Position Overview
As a Café Team Member at NRG Adventure Park, you keep our guests fueled for fun! You’ll prepare and serve food and drinks, ring up orders, and provide friendly, energetic service at our café counter. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness ensure every guest enjoys a safe, tasty, and memorable visit.
Essential Job Functions
Greet guests with a positive, energetic attitude and take food and beverage orders
Prepare and serve menu items (pizzas, snacks, drinks, etc.) according to food safety standards
Ring up orders accurately using our POS system and handle cash, credit, and mobile payments
Maintain a clean and organized café area, including counters, equipment, and dining spaces
Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels
Assist with large orders for birthday parties and group events; coordinate food timing with party hosts
Answer guest questions about menu items, ingredients, and allergies
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines
Resolve guest concerns and escalate issues to management as needed
Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
Upsell café specials, combos, and merchandise when appropriate
Additional responsibilities as assigned
Must be at least 16 years old
No experience required—training provided!
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, energetic environment
Attention to cleanliness, food safety, and detail
Positive, outgoing, and team-oriented attitude
Comfortable handling food and working with kitchen equipment
