Superbase Cafe is seeking a friendly and dependable Cashier to support daily café service and provide a welcoming experience for customers. This role involves taking orders, handling transactions, answering basic menu questions, and keeping the front counter organized. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Process cash, card, and other approved payments
- Operate the point-of-sale system and provide receipts
- Answer basic questions about menu items and café offerings
- Communicate order details and customer requests to the café team
- Keep the register and front counter clean and organized
- Restock cups, bags, napkins, utensils, and other service supplies
- Help organize orders for dine-in, pickup, or takeout
- Assist coworkers with opening, closing, and routine café duties
- Follow cash-handling, food-safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures
Qualifications
- Previous cashier, café, restaurant, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful but not required
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
