Intall Technician Position
Join our dynamic team as a Install Technician and be a key player in delivering top-quality installation and construction services across multiple locations. This is a hands-on, travel-based role ideal for candidates with a background in equipment installation, low voltage installation, flooring (polished concrete or epoxy), or drywall work. This is a heavy travel-based position, requiring frequent travel to project sites.
Reports To: Install Director
Essential Job Functions
- Install and service equipment as assigned, ensuring all work meets company and client standards.
- Perform low voltage installations, including wiring and system setup, as needed.
- Handle flooring projects such as polished concrete or epoxy applications.
- Complete drywall installation, repair, and finishing tasks.
- Travel to various project sites as required (all travel expenses, lodging, and meals covered).
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other technicians to deliver quality results.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation or construction challenges on-site.
- Report directly to the Install Director and provide regular project updates.
- Work overtime hours as needed, with additional compensation in accordance with applicable laws.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in at least one of the following: equipment installation, low voltage installation, flooring (polished concrete or epoxy), or drywall work.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently for work assignments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus.
