Position Summary
Seeking an Accountant Analyst with strong cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. This role supports financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and operational finance while partnering with plant leadership to improve profitability and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cost accounting, standard costing, inventory analysis, and P&L/Balance Sheet reporting.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and management reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance.
- Partner with operations to analyze costs, improve processes, and support business decisions.
- Drive automation and reporting improvements using Excel (Macros) and Power BI.
- Participate in continuous improvement and cross-functional projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- 2–5 years of general and cost accounting experience.
- Manufacturing experience required; aerospace preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP/accounting systems, and Power BI.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
