Job title: Senior Scheduler / Production Scheduler

Location: Ogden, UT

Shift: 1st Shift: 5 am - 2:30 pm or 6 am - 3:30 pm (Mon-Fri)

Pay rate: $25 to $32.89/hour

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to coordinate production schedules, material flow, and work orders in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures on-time delivery by managing production priorities, resolving scheduling conflicts, and collaborating with production, planning, inventory, and procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Coordinate work orders, material availability, and production priorities.
• Monitor WIP, inventory, and capacity to resolve bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, procurement, and quality teams.
• Update MRP/ERP systems and maintain accurate production data.
• Track shortages, expedite materials, and support recovery schedules.
• Prepare production status reports and communicate schedule updates.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and train junior team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years of production scheduling, production planning, or dispatching experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with MRP/MRP II, capacity planning, inventory control, and shop floor scheduling.
• Knowledge of manufacturing routings, travelers, and blueprints.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• APICS knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work effectively in a team environment.
