- Perform inspections, repairs, and upgrades on industrial equipment with a strong electrical troubleshooting focus.
- Test, evaluate, and repair electrical systems including controllers, relays, wiring, and boards.
- Troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley required; Siemens desirable).
- Maintain and repair motors, gearboxes, couplings, wheels, hoist/bridge brakes, and structural components.
- Track and manage equipment data (serial/model numbers, part identifiers) for repair quotes and ordering.
- Partner with the Maintenance Manager on preventive maintenance and vendor repairs.
- Communicate safety and performance issues promptly with leadership.
- Train technicians and operators to keep equipment in peak condition.
- 3 years of working industrial electrical & mechanical experience (NCCCO Certification preferred).
- Strong understanding of electrical theory for power and controls.
- Familiarity with OSHA/ANSI standards (required).
- Expert in troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLCs (Siemens is a plus).
- Proficient with electrical systems (controllers, relays, wiring) and mechanical equipment.
- Skilled in using a wide variety of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
- Ability to maintain a professional, safe, and compliant work environment.
- Strong communication across shifts for seamless handovers.
- Flexible and adaptable to varying shifts (8–12 hours) and occasional weekends.
- Physically capable: frequent lifting/carrying (50–75 lbs), climbing, kneeling, crawling, working at heights.
- Effective time management to stay focused and productive.
