The Quality Systems Manager plays a key role in keeping our quality systems strong, ISO certification intact, and customers satisfied. You’ll dig into problems, analyze data, and drive process improvements that directly impact product quality, cost, and delivery.
This role is onsite and requires candidates to be local to Troy, Ohio, or within a reasonable commuting distance. Applicants outside the area will not be considered.

What You’ll Do
- ISO Certification – Support and maintain ISO certification through audits, corrective actions, and compliance.
- Documentation & SOPs – Develop, update, and maintain SOPs and system documentation aligned with industry standards.
- Systems & Records – Implement programs to ensure accurate inspection, testing, and certification records.
- Audits & Inspections – Conduct internal audits, identify non-conformances, and support corrective/preventive actions.
- Training – Provide training on quality standards, product requirements, and safe work practices.
- Data Analysis – Use SPC, Pareto, ANOVA, and Cp/Cpk tools to analyze trends and prepare decision-driving reports.
- Collaboration – Partner with Sales, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to meet customer needs and boost satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement – Contribute to Lean, Kaizen, and other initiatives to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Additional Duties – Support other quality and process improvement projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years in Quality, Engineering, or Operations.
- Automotive industry and regulatory background strongly preferred.
- Proven success managing customer quality concerns.
- Required Skills: ISO quality systems, 8D problem-solving, SPC/statistical tools.
- Preferred Skills: Certified Internal ISO Auditor, ASQ CQE or Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean/Kaizen knowledge.
- Collaborate effectively across shifts and departments.
- Adapt to flexible schedules (8–12 hour shifts, occasional weekends).
- Maintain focus and accuracy in fast-paced environments.
- Prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Travel: 10–20% to customers and suppliers.
- Physical Requirements: Constant standing, walking, repetitive motions, and coordination. Frequent lifting (50–75 lbs), climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, and grasping.
