Position Summary:
Notre Dame Academy seeks a part-time Math Teacher to join our faculty for the 2026-2027 academic year and teach Precalculus and Calculus. This role focuses on preparing students for advanced study and fostering deep analytical thinking.
This position includes responsibility for teaching assigned courses, supporting students’ academic and personal growth, and contributing to the life of the school community.
Teachers at Notre Dame Academy play a vital role in forming young women of intellect, faith, and purpose. In addition to classroom instruction, faculty members serve as mentors, advisors, and active participants in a collaborative, student-centered school environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with course objectives and school standards
Create a classroom environment that is structured, inclusive, and supportive of student learning and growth
Assess student progress regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback
Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, interdisciplinary opportunities, and school initiatives
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events (including occasional evenings or weekends)
Uphold and model the mission and values of Notre Dame Academy in all aspects of school life
Contribute to a positive school culture grounded in respect, responsibility, and care for others
Teach upper-level mathematics with rigor and clarity
Prepare students for college-level expectations
Support students in advanced problem-solving and independent thinking
