This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys working closely with students to build strong foundational reasoning skills. This position includes responsibility for teaching assigned courses, supporting students’ academic and personal growth, and contributing to the life of the school community. Teachers at Notre Dame Academy play a vital role in forming young women of intellect, faith, and purpose. In addition to classroom instruction, faculty members serve as mentors, advisors, and active participants in a collaborative, student-centered school environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with course objectives and school standards Create a classroom environment that is structured, inclusive, and supportive of student learning and growth Assess student progress regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, interdisciplinary opportunities, and school initiatives Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events (including occasional evenings or weekends) Uphold and model the mission and values of Notre Dame Academy in all aspects of school life Contribute to a positive school culture grounded in respect, responsibility, and care for others Teach Geometry with an emphasis on logical reasoning and spatial thinking Support students in developing clear mathematical communication Provide targeted support to early high school learners
