Position Summary:
Notre Dame Academy seeks a part-time College Counselor (approximately 20 hours per week) to work with students in grades 11 and 12 as they navigate the college search, application, and decision-making process.
This role is both relational and strategic: the College Counselor partners closely with students and families to guide them through a thoughtful and personalized process, helping each student identify and pursue post-secondary pathways aligned with her goals, strengths, and aspirations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Guide juniors and seniors through all aspects of the college application process, including school selection, essays, applications, and decision-making
Meet individually with students and families to provide personalized support and advising
Write or coordinate school materials, including letters of recommendation and supporting documentation
Help students develop balanced and appropriate college lists
Support students in understanding financial aid, scholarships, and affordability considerations
Track application deadlines and ensure timely submission of all materials
Stay current on college admissions trends and maintain relationships with admissions representatives
Collaborate with faculty, advisors, and school leadership to support students holistically
Communicate clearly and consistently with students and families
Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of student information
Participate in relevant school events and meetings as appropriate
Uphold and model the mission and values of Notre Dame Academy
