The Weld Test Coordinator is directly accountable to the Director of Skilled Trades for the following duties and responsibilities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Schedule AWS weld testing for the Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC) Accredited Test Facility (ATF).
- Conduct weld testing for the ATF in accordance with NWFSC ATF procedures.
- Follow all AWS standards and codes associated with the ATF.
- Maintain ATF records and inventory.
- Ensure measuring and welding equipment is maintained and calibrated in accordance with AWS standards.
- Complete annual mandatory compliance training.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director, Dean of Workforce Education, or the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Current CWI with WPQ1 endorsement.
- Verifiable weld test experience.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
