We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with a variety of clients and industries. You will be responsible for a broad range of accounting functions, leveraging your expertise in QuickBooks and Excel, and providing some human resource administrative support.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) for multiple companies
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records
- Process payroll and assist with related reporting
- Utilize QuickBooks for daily bookkeeping and financial management tasks
- Create and maintain spreadsheets and reports in Microsoft Excel
- Assist with human resource administration, including onboarding and benefits coordination
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of accounting experience, preferably with multiple clients or companies
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop) and Microsoft Excel
- Solid understanding of A/P, A/R, payroll, and bank reconciliation
- Familiarity with basic human resources administrative tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per hour
